Terracon Names Soto Senior Principal

Terracon has named Alfonso A. Soto, PE, D.GE, F.ASCE, as Senior Principal.  Terracon is a leading provider of environmental, facilities, geotechnical and material services.  Their program provides rewards, recognition and opportunities for employees who have distinguished themselves through their strong leadership and contribution to the continued success of Terracon.

Soto earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Universidad Rafael Urdaneta and a Master of Engineering degree from Texas A&M University.  A native of Venezuela with over 30 years of international experience in geotechnical engineering, he has proven himself to be an expert in the industry.  He is a fellow of ASCE in addition to his Board Certification with AGP.  He joined Terracon in 2001, serving as a senior project manager for geotechnical services in the San Antonio office before his promotion to department manager in 2006.  Currently, he is based in Pharr and is a licensed PE in Texas.
