AGP Announces Next Induction Ceremony

Ceremonies are selected to maximize exposure of the Diplomates, the Academy and the certification program; thus the next AGP Induction Ceremony will be at the 2023 GeoCongress in Los Angeles, California right before the Opening Remarks and Seed Lecture from 4:00 – 5:00 PM Pacific on Sunday, March 26, 2023.  If you plan on participating and haven’t been inducted before and can attend, please contact staff (Brian Sien) at: [email protected].

During the ceremony, the President-Elect will introduce each new Diplomate to the audience. The President-Elect’s introduction will summarize the applicant’s current employment, his or her academic background, the applicant’s fields of specialization, and any of the applicant’s professional activities. The applicant will be presented a certificate stating that the applicant is D.GE and have his or her picture taken with the current president. The AGP staff will arrange to have a PowerPoint slide presentation showing a picture of each of the new Diplomates, as they are introduced.

Following the announcement of the new Diplomates, the AGP will host a reception/champagne toast for the newly designated D.GEs.
