Tom Szynakiewicz is currently Vice President at Harrison Western, a mining services contractor. He has worked in the geotechnical design/build construction industry for over 16 years primarily in the Rocky Mountain, Appalachian and Gulf Coast regions. Tom earned B.S. & M.S. degrees from the Colorado School of Mines and is a licensed professional engineer in 18 states. His areas of expertise include Slope Stabilization, Rockfall Mitigation, Earth Retention, Landslide Stabilization, Ground Improvement, Deep Foundations and Foundation Repair. Tom has extensive experience with various geotechnical construction methods including drilled shafts, ground anchors, micropiles, soil mixing, jet grouting, compaction grouting, slurry, microfine cement, and chemical grouting.
Tom is past president of the Colorado Association of Geotechnical Engineers and has previously served on the board of directors of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of ADSC.
