Timothy Siegel

Tim is CEO and a senior principal for Dan Brown and Associates PC (DBA). His projects primarily involve deep foundations, ground improvement, and earth retaining systems with an emphasis on large‐scale bridge projects. Tim is the co‐editor (with Dr. Anne Lemnitzer) of the DFI Journal and Chair of the DFI’s ground improvement committee. He also serves on technical committees for the Geo‐Institute and TRB. Prior to joining DBA in 2010, Tim was a technical principal with S&ME, Inc. and a senior engineer with Berkel and Company Contractors, Inc. He also taught soil mechanics and foundation engineering at the University of Tennessee between 2004 and 2014.
