Michael J. Galli, has over 30+ years’ experience in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing. He currently serves as Vice President/Chesapeake Office Manager for ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC. Mr. Galli is a licensed professional engineer in VA and NC and received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University and obtained a Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Averett University. He also recently received his Diplomate, Geotechnical Engineering certification from the ASCE Academy of Geo-Professionals.

He has served on numerous organization board positions and committees. He is the Past President of the American Society of Highway Engineers Greater Hampton Roads Chapter, Past President of the VA Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Past President of the Peninsula Branch of ASCE, and he serves as a committee member for Old Dominion University Civil and Environmental Engineering Visiting Council. Mr. Galli was also a task force member in the development of the Hampton Roads Special Inspection Guidelines and Procedures.
