About

Andy is Chairman of the Board of Langan Engineering, Environmental, Surveying, Landscape Architecture and Geology, DPC (Langan) and is also a Senior University Lecturer at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) where he teaches Soil Mechanics and Foundation Design. He is a graduate of Rutgers University with a B.S. and M.S. in civil engineering. He holds professional engineering licenses in nine states, is LEED AP‐certified, a member of The Moles, an ASCE Fellow, member of the National Academy of Construction and the Rutgers Alumni Association Board, and past chairman of the ACEC‐New York.

Andy presently serves on the NYC Department of Buildings Code Committee as Panel Chair to update the Soils & Foundations section of the 2014 Building Code. In 2018, Andy was named Engineer of the Year by ACEC New York and Civil Engineer of the Year by the ASCE Metropolitan Section.
