About

Mr. Siddique was born in Bangladesh. He received his B. Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka Bangladesh in 1989, where he became a faculty member and served for three years. In January 1993 he moved to the USA for his higher education. He receives his M. Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC, in 1995. He has been working in the civil engineering industry for 29 years. He has been working as a design Geotechnical Engineer in the USA since his graduation in 1995. During the last 26 years period, he had the opportunity to work in various most high-profile projects in the Civil Engineering industry within the northeast region of the USA. For those projects, he was responsible for coordinating and inspecting subsurface investigations, assigning laboratory testing, determining soil and rock design parameters; designing and recommending shallow and deep foundations for various structures; designing ground improvement programs; also designing retaining structures such as bridge abutments, MSE walls, soil nail walls, soldier beam and lagging walls, and anchored walls; oversight field load testing  on micropiles,  augercast piles, drilled  shafts, H-piles, taper tube piles, and pipe piles; analyzing seepage, slope stability, stability of abutments and retaining structures; estimating settlement and bearing capacity; and monitoring settlement plates, vibrating wire piezometers, extensometer, borros anchors, and inclinometers. He was also responsible for preparing soils, geology, and foundation engineering reports, preparing construction specifications, and reviewing construction drawings and contractor’s submittals. In addition, he was also responsible for designing pavement for highways and local roads. Out of those projects, a few of them are included below:
