June 2020 Duffield Associates, Inc. Guy F. Marcozzi, P.E. is a graduate of the University of Delaware where he earned his Bachelor of Civil Engineering (with a focus on Structural Engineering) in 1985 and his Master of Civil Engineering (with a focus on Geotechnical and Foundation Engineering) in 1988. Guy formerly served as an Adjunct Professor in Engineering, on the University’s Engineering Advisory Council and is presently honored to serve on its Board of Trustees. |
 May 2020 Dan Brown and Associates, PC Tim is CEO and a senior principal for Dan Brown and Associates PC (DBA). His projects primarily involve deep foundations, ground improvement, and earth retaining systems with an emphasis on large‐scale bridge projects. Tim is the co‐editor (with Dr. Anne Lemnitzer) of the DFI Journal and Chair of the DFI’s ground improvement committee. He also serves on technical committees for the Geo‐Institute and TRB. Prior to joining DBA in 2010, Tim was a technical principal with S&ME, Inc. and a senior engineer with Berkel and Company Contractors, Inc. |

Matthew Meyer is a Professional Engineer with about 25 years of geotechnical engineering experience and is a Board Certified Diplomate Geotechnical Engineer by the Academy of Geo‐Professionals. Matt is a Principal/Vice President with Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc., a multi‐discipline, civil engineering, environmental consulting and geotechnical engineering firm. Matt has a B.S. in civil engineering from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and an M.S. in civil engineering from Virginia Tech. |
 December 2019 C.W. Felice, LLC Conrad W. Felice, Ph.D., P.E., P.Eng., F. ASCE is serving as the Washington State Department of Transportation owners representative and Geotechnical Design Manager for the over $2.5 billion I‐405 Corridor Program. He is also the Managing Principal at C. W. Felice, LLC, an Adjust Professor in the Department of Civil & Coastal Engineer at the University of Florida. He is a professional engineer registered in 15 states and four provinces in Canada. |

Michael Byle has more than 30 years of professional experience in civil and geotechnical engineering and is currently National Discipline Lead for Civil and Geotechnical Engineering at Tetra Tech, Inc. He is responsible for corporate technical quality for civil, structural and geotechnical engineering services, management of complex projects, training, expert consultation and professional development of technical civil and geotechnical engineering staff. |
 July 2019 GeoStabilization International Tom Szynakiewicz is currently Vice President at Harrison Western, a mining services contractor. He has worked in the geotechnical design/build construction industry for over 16 years primarily in the Rocky Mountain, Appalachian and Gulf Coast regions. Tom earned B.S. & M.S. degrees from the Colorado School of Mines and is a licensed professional engineer in 18 states. His areas of expertise include Slope Stabilization, Rockfall Mitigation, Earth Retention, Landslide Stabilization, Ground Improvement, Deep Foundations and Foundation Repair. |
 May 2019 GeoStructures, Inc. Jon Bennett has been involved in the design and management of specialty geotechnical construction projects since 1994 throughout the Mid Atlantic United States. He specializes in the design and analysis of deep foundations, ground anchors and anchored structures primarily focusing on tieback walls, soil nailing, micropiles, drilled shafts, augercast piles, foundation underpinning, tiedowns and grouting for structural support. |
March 2019 Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. Jared is originally from southwest Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Syracuse University’s College of Engineering with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He later went on to attain his M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana‐Campaign. He began working in the NYC office of Langan over 17 years ago and is now a Senior Associate / Vice President and Geotechnical Practice Leader in the Philadelphia office. Jared is a consultant and team leader that also enjoys mentoring young engineers and first generation college students. |

GILBERT P.E., Ph.D., D.GE, M.ASCE, is Chair of the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. He joined the faculty in 1993 after practicing for five years as a consulting engineer with Golder Associates Inc. His technical focus is the assessment, evaluation and management of risk for civil engineering systems. |

He currently serves as Vice President/Chesapeake Office Manager for ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC. Mr. Galli is a licensed professional engineer in VA and NC and received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University and obtained a Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Averett University. |
