Value Proposition
The Academy of Geo-Professionals, founded in 2008, is an august group of over 350 board certified geotechnical engineers who have gone through many years of training and experience to become eligible for Diplomate, Geotechnical Engineer (D.GE) Board Certification. The D.GE board certification program was launched by members of the American Society of Civil Engineers' Geo-Institute.
The Geo-Profession comprises the individuals and professional organizations that work with the materials and processes forming the earth's crust, in the context of the built environment.
Geotechnical engineering is the branch of civil engineering concerned with the engineering behavior of the materials and processes forming the earth's crust, in the context of the built environment.
AGP’s mission is to provide excellence in leadership by elevating the professional practice of geotechnical engineering through advanced certification, continuing education, and ethical practice.
